My phone froze last week. It taught me something.

Last week my phone froze. Nothing dramatic. It just… stopped working. Apps wouldn’t open. Messages wouldn’t send. The screen lagged behind every swipe. Like most people, my first instinct was to blame the app I was trying to use.

So I closed it. Opened it again. Deleted a few things. Nothing changed.

Then a message popped up across the screen.

“Software Update Available.”

It made me laugh.
